Diet

Aim for improvement, not perfection and you’ll be doing great.

What you eat impacts everything. How happy you are work. How well you perform at your job. How you show up for your family. Unfortunately, most modern food is designed for mass consumption, optimal shelf life, and over consumption. The deck is stacked against you.

Keep it Simple Diet Guidelines

Remember, not one can follow these rules to perfection. In fact, that would be terrible. Aim for improvement, not perfection and you’ll be doing great. Cut yourself a little slack.

  1. Eat real food whenever possible. The less processed the better.
  2. Eat as many vegetables as you can.
    1. Clear it off your plate first. (lowers insulin, more satiating)
  3. Go for quality, whenever possible, if you can afford it.
    1. Grass fed red meats
    2. Eat organic or follow the dirty dozen.
  4. What you don’t eat is more important than what you do eat.
    1. Limit alcohol.
    2. Limit sugar.
    3. Limit processed carbs.
  5. Avoid eating two hours before bed.
